Class Rules.doc
Many students struggle to read, and when upset have an even harder time processing written information. These class rules have pegs from boardmaker, to give visual cues for each rule.
Helpful Links:
www.speakingofspeech.com Under the materials exchange there is a box menu with all sorts of great resources, most of which incorporate visuals!
www.elearning.autism.net One of my other new favorite finds! on the left hand side of your screen there is a box titled visuals gallery. After you click on it a screen will come up that has two choices and a search. The search does not really work so well. I found it easiest to click on the visual titled English Visuals, it has about 50 really neat visuals.
I have to add my favorites are the square breathing, relaxation booklet, progressive relaxation chart....so awesome, you could turn your cool down area into a space to learn instead of feeling punished:)
www.usevisualstrategies.com under the printable picture cards heading they have some good images that are free to use:)
www.slatersoftware.com Under the free stuff tab there are all sorts of activities and social stories with visual supports.
